Configuring Outlook For SMTP Authentication

Step 1

Open Outlook and follow these steps
Select “Tools” … “Email Accounts”

Step 2

Select “View or Change Existing email accounts” , Click “Next” Button

Step 3

Click “Change” Button

Step 4

Change “Outgoing mail server [SMTP]” to auth.globemw.net
And Click “More Settings…” Button

Step 5

Select “Outgoing Server” tab
Select “My outgoing server requires authentication” option
Select “Logon using “ Option and Fill “Username” & Password”

Note: “Username” has to be Dialup Username and password.

Step 6

Click “OK” .. “Next” … ”Finish” Buttons.

Step 1
	Open express and follow these steps Select "Tools"


Step 2
	Select "Account"


Step 3
	Select "Mail"


Step 4
	Select "Your account"


Step 5
	Select "Your account"


Step 6
	Outgoing mail (SMTP) server auth.globemw.com


Step 7
	Select “My server requires authentication” under Outgoing mail server.


Step 8
	Click “Settings”


Step 9
	Click “Logon using”


Steps 10 & 11
	Account Name: "Your dialup username" Password: "Your password...Click “Remember Password”….


Step 12
	Click Ok…Ok...Close
